NEW ITEM - SPECIAL PRICE THRU 2016! - On June 2-4, 2017, for the fifth year, Cee Dub and Penny will teach a THREE-DAY hands-on Dutch oven cooking clinic at McKinley Springs Winery near Prosser, Washington. The clinic will start on Friday, and end Sunday early afternoon so folks can get on the road. Cee Dub, TV host and Dutch oven cookbook author, will feature new and interesting topics he'll weave into the material he normally covers in his Dutch oven cookin' clinics! Participants will incorporate some smoking to enhance Dutch oven recipes while preparing main dishes of pork, beef, Cornish Game Hens, and seafood. One day of the clinic will focus on Tex-Mex favorites from appetizers to desserts along with other entrees. Learn hands-on tips and tricks of sourdough and yeast bread baking. Enjoy the ambiance and atmosphere of Washinton's Wine Country while Cee Dub starts with basic Dutch Oven Cooking and covers the spectrum up to and including Dutch oven gourmet. Cee Dub teaches his "Time & Temperature" techniques so both beginners and advanced Dutch oven cooks learn how to achieve consistent results with anything they cook in their Dutch ovens. Class participants will see and taste many Dutch oven delights such as favorites Sunday Morning Quiche, Baked Oatmeal, Dutch Oven Baking Powder Biscuits, Dutch Oven Tex-Mex Fritatta, Pecan Pie, Pen's Southwest Breakfast Casserole, and Jalapeno Poppers, to name just a few. To go with all the homemade bread, participants will churn their own butter.
