Lewis and Clark Trail - South Fork of the Clearwater River - Enjoy the peace and tranquility during our summer clinics.

About the Clinics: In 1998 Cee Dub began teaching a Dutch Oven Cooking Course for Lewis & Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. Now, in addition to teaching for LC State and a limited number of out-of-town clinics, Cee Dub is offering a four day “hands-on” camp cooking clinic at his home along the scenic South Fork of Clearwater River in North Central Idaho. The clinic begins on Thursday afternoon (see our syllabus) and concludes by noon on Sundays. Enrollment is limited to eight (8) students and when available will feature guest instructors. Participants will learn in a “hands-on” environment all aspects of camp cooking including menu planning, packing tips, camp sanitation, care of cast-iron cookware, use of aluminum DO's, baking, frying, roasting, etc., and camping etiquette.

Each participant will receive all four of Cee Dub's Dutch Oven Cook Books: "Cee Dub's Dutch Oven and Other Camp Cookin'", "More Cee Dub's Dutch Oven and Other Camp Cookin'", "Cee Dub's Ethnic and Regional Dutch Oven Cookin'", and "Retro Ranch". Participants will also receive a 10% discount on all orders for Dutch Ovens, Dutch Oven Accessories, Propane Stoves, Cooking Supplies, Books and DVDs that are ordered during the Clinic.

Facilities: As in "home cookin'"; this is "home schoolin'"! We offer a choice of inside accommodations: Air Conditioned Double Occupancy Cabins and/or the Ranch Bunkhouse. It's not the Taj Mahal, but it's not a covered wagon either! No pets please!

Location: This year the Clinics will be held on The Flagler Ranch near the junction of US HWY 83 & Texas HWY 41. (Approximately 60 miles west of Kerrville. Specific directions will be provided upon registration.).

* Additional cost covers meat, spices and casings. All participants will be able to take home their class project of approx. 15 lbs. of sausage. All participants should bring a cooler for transporting their sausage to their home.

TERMS & CONDITIONS. A 50% deposit or payment in full is required upon registration. If the student cancels, the 50% tuition deposit, or one half the total tuition will not be refunded. The student can reschedule no later than 21 days before a subsequent class for a $25.00 administration fee. Cee Dub's Dutch Oven Cooking Supplies, LLC, reserves the right to cancel a class for any reason. Cee Dub's limit of liability when a class is cancelled shall be your choice of a free reschedule or a half or full tuition refund depending on one's deposit at the time of registration Cee Dub's reserves the right to refuse enrollment at any time, in which case there will be a full refund of tuition paid.

NOTE: You will be billed for 1lb. shipping weight for each transaction regarding payment for the full clinic cost or for each deposit and subsequent payment because our system will not complete the order without a shipping weight. Cee Dub will hand you a Five Dollar Bill when you sign in at the event for each excess billing charge that occurs. Please choose Priority Mail and the charge should be $4.50 for each transaction

This price includes accommodations plus everything you'll need during the clinic. You will be cooking and preparing all your own meals with groceries provided as a part of the tuition.

June 23-24, Round Top, Texas. Learn Dutch oven cookin' and bake sourdough bread at Cee Dub's two day clinic in Historic Round Top, Texas. The clinic will be held at the Old Depot Antiques facility. Cost is $100.00/day or both days for $175.00. Camping and showers are available at no cost on site. RV hookups are $25.00/night payable at the clinic. There are motels in the adjacent towns of LaGrange and Brenham. Members of The Lone Star Dutch Oven Society will receive a $15.00 gift certificate towards the purchase of any products carried by Cee Dub's!
